Brabus are not a brand normally associated with low emission cars, however they have moved into the sector with a ‘Green Package’ for the Tesla Roadster.
Stuck with tuning an electric car Brabus have kept to visual changes rather than performance enhancements. The Brabus Tesla gets various lightweight carbon fibre body parts to set the car apart from the other Tesla Roadsters that you may find (we haven’t seen one yet!) There are also new Monoblock alloy wheels matched to high performance tyres and LED daytime running lights.
Inside is an exclusive interior with perforated lightweight leather and Alcantara. An additional highlight is the backstitched lightweight leather that covers the vehicle floor.
Powering up the batteries is made more simple through cooperation with partner RWE. The exclusive BRABUS customization program for the first electric production sports car includes the RWE-BRABUS high-tech quick charging station for the customer’s garage and environmentally friendly RWE Eco Electricity for 30,000 kilometers (18,641 miles). Also included is a one-year RWE car electricity pass for free use of all public RWE charging stations.
