Unlike Lexus, Infiniti are keeping tight lipped about their premium, mid-sized convertible. Photos have been limited and we have yet to find out more about the apparently ‘unique interior treatment’. Like the Lexus IS250C, the G37 will feature a three-piece hardtop, to keep a coupe-like roofline.
It will share the same 3.7L V6 as the G37 coupe, delivering 328 horsepower. Upgrades for 2009 across the line will also include a new optional 7-speed automatic transmission, an optional sport brake package and new design 18-inch wheels.
When launched in the Spring in the US and Summer in Europe, it will mark the first Infiniti drop top since the M30 convertible which was discontinued in 1992.
