With the sad news that the Honda S2000 is finally reaching the end of its life and will cease production after the 2009 model year and with its successor still in doubt, Honda have allowed the roadster a final fling.
The Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition retains the 2.0-liter VTEC-equipped four-cylinder delivering 237 hp and 153 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed manual transmission, but receives a new set of wheels and an optional hard-top. The “Grand Prix White” paint and a red leather interior give the S2000 the motoring industry’s most fashionable colour scheme, while colour-matched stitching and numbered sill plaques sets it apart from the standard model. Honda debuted the S2000 Ultimate Edition at the Geneva Motor Show and sales begin in Europe soon. The U.S. may ultimately miss out.
