SsangYong are considering whether to follow Nissan and explore the market for a Convertible Crossover. Their SsangYong XIV-2 Convertible concept will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March as a successor to the hard-top XIV concept shown just last year.

Future looks dim for the VW BlueSport platform

There has been talk of a family of small mid-engined roadsters from Volkswagen for some time and with the car now close to completion it seems to have fallen from favour among the companies senior executives. The car which was launched as the VW BlueSport Roadster concept in Detroit in 2009 is aimed to be a super-efficient low-carbon sports car.

Unlike your average American pick-up there isn’t room for a jet-ski or a quad-bike but there is plenty of space for a couple of electric bikes.
Bentley Continental GTC V8 to make Detroit debut

Details of a new Bentley Continental GTC V8 has been released prior to its official unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show in January. The new V8 powered car will sit alongside the original Bentley Continental GTC W12 model at what we assume will be a lower price.
Daihatsu D-X roadster unveiled in Tokyo

The Daihatsu Copen has always been at the top of our list for value and fun but it has been around for a decade now so we have been keen to know what they will come up with next. The concept released at the Tokyo Motor Show can at least give us some ideas. Named the Daihatsu D-X (pronounced Dee Cross) it is a kind of tiny SUV/Roadster crossover.
