Jaguar F-Type to debut in Paris

he F-Type is a big thing for Jaguar. It has been nearly forty years since the E-Type went out of production and although in that time there have been sports models none have been performance focused enough to take the next place in the naming pattern. The strict 2 seater roadster will be launched at the Paris Motor Show on 27th September.

The rear-wheel-drive sports car collaboration of Toyota and Subaru has so far spawned a fixed-head coupe but it is looking hopeful that a convertible version of the car could be with us as soon as the summer of 2013.
Jaguar F-Type Roadster takes on the Goodwood Hill

The Jaguar F-Type Roadster prototype made its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend. The still camouflaged convertible sports car was driven up the famous hill-climb event by Jaguar’s Head of Vehicle Integrity, Mike Cross.

Mazda have Fiat Group (the owners of the Alfa Romeo brand) have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding that the platform of the next generation Mazda MX-5 Miata will be used for the development and manufacture of roadsters by both Mazda and Alfa Romeo brands. Mazda and Fiat have also agreed to discuss further opportunities for co-operation in Europe.
