The Ginetta G20 is more of a racing car than something designed for practical road use. There are no doors, boot lid, hood or side windows so although it may look more like a ‘proper car’ than a Caterham, it is no less of a no frills, raw driving experience. It is most at home on the track either on a public track day or as part of one of Ginetta’s own racing series’. The price is very low for the performance and the 1.8 litre Ford engine should be reliable. It is a windy experience behind the wheel but in most cases driver’s grins will be protected by a crash helmet.
The G20 was later made available as a track car only.
