The Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M is a special edition, much-modified version of the F430 Spider. It was designed to commemorate Ferrari’s 2008 F1 World Championship win, their 16th in total. It is some 80kg lighter than the standard car and is tuned to produce 510hp. This is enough for it to set a record for a Ferrari open-top road car on their Fiorano test track. The Scuderia Spider 16M is available in a choice of two new signature colour schemes: the standard version is black with grey trim, while a tricolour livery is also available as part of the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalisation Programme. Limited to a run of 499 cars, the Scuderia is reserved for the most passionate and wealthy of drivers.
