The much anticipated Audi A3 Cabriolet has been announced and will see it’s public launch at the Bologna Motor Show. Apparently focusing only on the European market the A3 will be available with a choice of 2 petrol and 2 diesel engines, all cars being front-wheel-drive.
The compact four seater comes with a power operated fabric folding roof giving excellent luggage space and versitility. In fact, the Cabriolet even has folding rear seats so that the luggage space can be maximised whether the roof is up or down. The roof can also be operated at speeds up to 30 km/h.
It will be interesting to see how the Audi compares to BMW’s 1-Series when they reach our roads in the summer.
