The partnership of former designer for General Motors, Fharys Rossin and Natalino Bertin Junior, Bertin has born Brazil’s first super car, the Vorax to be presented at the Auto Show in Sao Paulo.
The new Brazilian brand Rossin-Bertin will produce this sports car in two versions: the coupe and convertible version. Each will have a powerful BMW V10 570 horsepower, a seven-speed sequential gearbox and rear wheel drive. Body panels of carbon fibre skin an aluminum structure, which weighs in at a skimpy 1,300 kg. The Vorax aims to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h.
The fast developing Brazilian economy may provide demand for this exotic looking machine despite its unproven track record. The suggested retail price of this stunning convertible is however, a hefty $700,000.
