Somewhere between a (very) convertible car and a motorbike, the Tesseract is Yamaha’s vision of the future. The chassis is supported by four wheels and yet is only a little wider than a motorcycle.
It leans into turns like both the Piaggio MP3 scooter or a standard motorcycle while a locking system keeps the vehicle upright when at rest without a stand. The Yamaha features a hybrid power source with both a V-Twin petrol engine and an electric motor.
The Yamaha Tesseract concept will be on view at the Tokyo Motor Show.
