BAC (Briggs Automotive Company) has officially launched their new BAC Scottsdale dealership set up by former Major League Baseball All-Star CJ Wilson. Operating out of the McLaren Scottsdale dealership it brings the latest version of the British single-seat track-focused supercar to the American audiance.
Despite being built in tiny numbers, the BAC Mono has an enthusiastic global following. Perhaps due to the Mono’s uncompromising design and use of the very latest racing technology. In racing style the 2018 Mono weighs only 580kg or 1279lbs so the 305bhp 2.5-litre Mountune engine gives blistering peformance.
Potential customers flew in to the private Inde Motorsports Ranch resort to try the Mono where it is most at home – on a track. CJ Wilson aims to sell just 5 cars to select buyers in 2018 after being so impressed with the car himself. The former MLB All-Star said: “It’s with great pleasure that I can declare BAC Scottsdale officially open for business. When I first got into the Mono cockpit, I was absolutely blown away – it provides the ultimate experience for any driving purist, with unrivalled levels of accessibility, pace and poise. There are only five 2018 Model Year Monos coming to Scottsdale, and I’m very much looking forward to finding some very lucky buyers to join one of the most exclusive automotive clubs in the world.”
